Principles Friday: “I don’t care what you think about me. I don’t think about you at all.” by Coco Chanel.

Hadi Radwan Season 2 Episode 21

Every Friday, I share with you one principle that has inspired me.

In this episode, I share with you one principle by Coco Chanel.: “I don’t care what you think about me. I don’t think about you at all.”

In our daily life, we have to make multiple decisions daily. It becomes really hard when you don’t have any key points based on what you will make that particular decision. Our understanding of the world around us is largely shaped by the core principles we have accepted. Principles recognize what is true and help us apply truth to new or unknown situations. A good set of principles will enable us to make decisions quickly, even if our situation is completely new.

Principles Friday will help you share the principles of successful entrepreneurs, founders, and big thinkers.

Happy Friday Everyone,

Welcome to Principles Friday, where I share one principle that can help you in your life and business.

Today we have on the show Coco Chanel.

“I don’t care what you think about me. I don’t think about you at all.”

What a strong principle.

For thos who don’t know Coco Chanel, she was a French fashion designer and businesswoman who is widely recognized as one of the most influential figures in the fashion industry. She is best known for her iconic fashion designs, including the little black dress, Chanel suit, and Chanel No. 5 perfume.Coco Chanel was considered strong for several reasons. Here are a few of them:

Chanel grew up in poverty and experienced many hardships in her early life, including the death of her mother and being sent to an orphanage. Despite these challenges, she was able to rise above them and achieve great success. She was confident in herself and her abilities. She knew what she wanted and was not afraid to pursue it, even if it meant going against the norm.

That was the basis of her principle about the importance of being confident and independent in oneself. It means that we should not let other people's opinions or judgments affect our sense of self-worth or our decisions.

Here are few valuable lessons, we can take with us:

On Self-confidence: Be confident in yourselves and don’t let other people's opinions or judgments affect you. We are in control of our own lives and that our self-worth should not depend on others.

On Self-reliance: Trust your own instincts and make decisions based on your own values and priorities, rather than trying to please others.

On Resilience: Persevere through challenges and obstacles, even when others doubt or criticize you.

On Authenticity: Be true to yourselves and embrace your individuality. Don't conform to social expectations or to fit into a certain mold to be successful or happy.

Embrace this principle, and learn to trust your own instincts and be true to yourselves, even in the face of criticism or opposition.

And remember: “I don’t care what you think about me. I don’t think about you at all.”

That Concludes it for this Friday.

We love your feedback. Please leave us a review and share it with someone you think will benefit from our podcast.

Have a great weekend.
